Azusa Pacific University and Los Angeles Pacific University both strive to be a Christian educational institution that conducts business and relationships in a manner that is honoring to God, ethical, and legal. This site is a venue for any APU or LAPU employee to anonymously report improper activities that are not in alignment with this goal. Your concern will be directed to the Office of the General Counsel and please be assured that your report will be anonymous. Your email and IP address will not be tracked, as the form has been set up to ensure anonymity. Using either of these anonymous reporting channels mentioned will ensure that your identity will not be known to APU or LAPU unless you choose to include your contact information.

Workplace Violence Prevention Plan Reporting Portal: California now mandates employers to establish and implement Workplace Violence Prevention Plans, enhancing traditional safety measures. Effective since January 1, 2024, under SB 553, this law requires employers to have these plans in place by July 1, 2024, serving as the primary resource for reporting incidents. The Whistleblower Policies
Section 3.17 of the APU Employee Handbook governs both the reporting and investigation of allegations of suspected improper or unlawful activities and the protection of whistleblowers from retaliation. It describes the procedures for investigation of known or suspected illegal activities or violation of University policy with respect to conflicts of interest, financial reporting, or management of University resources, and addressing complaints of retaliation for raising such issues. Section 4.14 of the LAPU Employee Handbook LAPU has a responsibility for the stewardship of LAPU resources and the public and private support that enables it to pursue its mission. The institution's internal controls and operating procedures are intended to detect and to prevent or deter improper activities. However, intentional and unintentional violations of laws, regulations, policies, and procedures may occur and may constitute unlawful activities. LAPU has a responsibility to investigate and report to appropriate parties allegations of suspected improper activities, and to protect those employees who, in good faith, report these activities to the appropriate authority.
